Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson was caught on digicam being bitten by an ostrich throughout a household safari journey in Texas.

The ex-PM might be heard shouting "f****** hell!" as the big fowl abruptly assaults him by means of his automobile window.

The hilarious incident was filmed by his spouse Carrie, who shared it on Instagram with the caption: "Too humorous to not share".

The footage exhibits the couple's four-year-old son Wilfred guffawing hysterically as his father recoils from the fowl's assault.

Within the video, Johnson seems to be getting ready to feed the 7ft ostrich earlier than it abruptly lunges at him.

"Oh Christ, f***ing hell," he exclaims, seemingly accelerating away from the animal.

The Johnsons are holidaying in Texas, the place they've been feeding deer and visited Stumpy's grill restaurant in Granbury.

This isn't Johnson's first awkward animal encounter. His canine Dilyn turned infamous throughout his time at No 10 for being "randy" and "uncontrolled".
