Police have launched an pressing investigation after a younger lady was taken to hospital following an alleged rape in Canary Wharf.

Emergency companies had been referred to as to reviews of a sexual assault on Hertsmere Highway, east London at 4.25am on Saturday, August 23.

A lady, who’s in her 20s, was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service, and is known to be being supported by specialist officers.

No arrests have been made to date, because the Met Police urges anybody with info to come back ahead.

A spokesman for the pressure stated: "We’re investigating an alleged rape which happened on Hertsmere Highway, Canary Wharf.

"Officers had been referred to as at 4.25am on Saturday, August 23 and attended alongside the London Ambulance Service.

"A lady in her 20s was taken to hospital and is being supported by specifically skilled officers.

"Right now, no arrests have been made, however officers proceed to make pressing enquiries."
