Two girls who blamed a day of heavy boozing for battering a pair of sisters over a petty household feud have been spared jail.
Ceri Chase, 29 and Chelsea Smith, 28, each moms, had been out with a 3rd girl after they crossed paths with Anita Jones and Stacey Palin as they headed to a pub in Chester, Cheshire, on the night of September 13.
Ms Jones was accompanied by her boyfriend, who had beforehand been in a relationship with a relative of Chase, which jurors had been informed led to ‘points with the households’.
A courtroom heard the defendants started yelling abuse at Ms Jones, calling her ‘a rat and a tramp’.
Ms Jones and her sister then crossed the highway and informed Chase to depart them alone.

The courtroom heard Chase then adopted them over the highway and punched Ms Jones within the face earlier than dragging her to the ground.
