Water rescue groups, together with firefighters, have been deployed to the scene in subzero temperatures and located the automobile submerged within the water.

Photos present the wreckage of the automobile within the huge wastewater oxidation ditch.

Police at the moment are interesting for witnesses. A spokesperson stated: ‘Highway closures have been put in place on Wheldon Highway for a time, however these have now been eliminated.

‘The incident is being investigated by the Main Collision Enquiry Staff, who’re interesting for anybody who witnessed the car travelling alongside Wheldon Highway from the route of Airedale instantly beforehand to contact them.
