A Ryanair flight has had to be grounded at Manchester Airport after a passenger tried to 'open an emergency exit' mid-air, according to a witness on the plane. Fellow passengers attempted to stop the woman and alerted cabin crew, who then brought in the flight's captain, the eyewitness continued.

A Ryanair flight was compelled to show again to Manchester Airport after a passenger tried to ‘open an emergency exit’ mid-air.

Fellow passengers tried to cease the lady and alerted cabin crew, who then introduced within the flight’s captain, in response to a passenger on the airplane.

The girl was faraway from her seat by the emergency exit, and the captain of the airplane reportedly stood guard close to the door.

After touchdown, the lady was rushed off the airplane by Higher Manchester Police, and engineers got here onboard to examine injury and change elements.

The flight is now again within the air after restarting its journey from Manchester to Agadir in Morocco.

The grounding occurred round 10.09 am, in response to FlightRadar 24, and a passenger onboard informed MEN: ‘She was solely in a position to get the plastic masking off and in consequence was unsuccessful, as different passengers stopped her and made cabin crew conscious of the scenario at 9.30 am, who then made the captain conscious.’

The flight, RUK1266, then restarted its journey at 11:22 am and is presently round an hour and a half into its journey of slightly below 4 hours, in response to FlightAware knowledge.
