A MEMBER of Qatar’s royal household spat at a resort employee in a 2am bust-up at a five-star London retreat – earlier than being dragged from his room in handcuffs.

Abdulrahman Al-Thani, 18, launched the pathetic assault within the early hours of Monday morning after asking workers at Mayfair’s unique 45 Park Lane “Are you aware who I’m?”.

The minor royal, who was staying at his dad and mom’ flat inside the luxury £700-a-night resort, spent the evening in Brixton police station after cops swooped and arrested him in his room.

Al-Thani is a distant relative of the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

The holidaying royal had returned from an evening out when a safety guard denied him entry to the resort at 2am.

Prosecutor Rihan Neil advised Westminster magistrates’ courtroom: “The defendant was a visitor staying on the 45 Park Lane resort.

“Earlier within the evening he tried to achieve entry via a distinct entrance.

“To do that, he needed to show he was staying on the resort.

“He refused to offer these particulars.

“Safety requested him a number of occasions to go away, earlier than inserting his hand on the defendant’s arm to attempt to encourage him to go away.

“The defendant turned verbally aggressive and referred to as the employees names.

“He then left the premises.”

The courtroom heard the well-travelled enterprise pupil later returned because the passenger in a white Maserati supercar.

Ms Neil continued: “He approached the workers member he interacted with and requested, ‘Are you aware who I’m? Suck your mum’, after which spat on the employee.

“The spit missed the face of the safety employee and hit the face of the sufferer.

The sufferer, engineer Jake Rickman, was on an evening shift and walked over to the argument after listening to the commotion outdoors.

‘INHUMANE’ TREATMENT

He mentioned in a witness assertion learn out in courtroom: “I’ve been humiliated.

“I need to break down and cry.

“I don’t come to work to be handled like this.

“It’s inhumane and no person must be handled like this.

“I’ve been made to really feel like I’m going to lose my job and due to his stature I’m afraid for my security.”
