
A person has died almost per week after a fireplace in a block of flats in London.
London Hearth Brigade have been known as to a primary flooring flat in Venner Street, Lewisham, shortly earlier than 6am on Tuesday, February 18.
Whereas solely a small a part of the flat was broken by the fireplace, a person was handled on the scene by paramedics earlier than being taken to hospital.
The fireplace brigade has now confirmed immediately that the person has since died.
The reason for the fireplace is now below investigation.
4 fireplace engines from Beckenham, Forest Hill, West Norwood and Bromley attended the scene to combat the fireplace, which they managed to extinguish by about 7.15am.
