A historic pub reportedly visited by King Charles I through the English Civil Battle has gone up in flames.

Thick plumes of smoke billowed out of the Raven Lodge in Droitwich Spa as a hearth raged by the constructing on Sunday afternoon.

The derelict constructing, containing a number of outdated timber, went up in flames rapidly as firefighters tried to save lots of the Grade II-listed web site.
