Janet’s union, the United Voices of the World (UVW) Union, has been preventing Janet’s case at disciplinary hearings and has appealed the choice.

Their spokesperson advised Metro: ‘It’s ludicrous and absurd that somebody can conclude she was committing an act of theft.

Janet’s colleagues and LSE college students have leapt to her defence.
