A schoolgirl travelling on a practice was left with a damaged wrist and chunks of her hair ripped out after she was all of the sudden attacked by a bunch of youngsters.
Footage exhibits 13-year-old Ruby begging her attackers to cease as she was punched and kicked within the head in the course of the 15-minute ordeal.
She had boarded the Tyne and Put on’s Metro at Whitley Bay on Friday afternoon when she was set on by two teenage ladies.
Her aunt, Tammie Barclay, has mentioned the gang had been wanting cash off of her niece, and ‘held her captive’ till she gave them £10.

‘The sufferer – aged 13 – was left shaken by the incident and was taken to hospital to be checked over. She has since been discharged and is being supported by officers.’
