An easyJet captain has been suspended following reviews of intoxicated and nude behaviour at a Cape Verde resort.

The airline grounded the pilot after he was allegedly noticed with out clothes while closely intoxicated on the Melia Dunas Seashore Resort and Spa.

The incident occurred through the early hours after what witnesses described as an prolonged consuming session.

The captain had been scheduled to function a return flight to Gatwick Airport roughly 36 hours after the reported incident.

In response to reviews, the pilot arrived on the resort on August 4 and commenced consuming at a bar, persevering with till the early morning.

At roughly 2.30am, witnesses noticed him eradicating all his clothes and getting into the lodge's reception space fully nude.

The captain is then believed to have proceeded via numerous areas of the posh resort, together with the gymnasium and spa amenities.
