CHILDREN watched in horror as a rhino killed a zebra at a zoo yesterday.
The surprising assault occurred in an out of doors enclosure shared by the wild animals.

Guests mentioned that they had earlier seen some rhinos chasing zebras within the blended species African habitat.
Employees at Colchester Zoo, Essex, cleared folks from the attraction after the 2pm tragedy.
A spokesman mentioned: “There was an incident in our blended species African habitat between a rhino and our male zebra and sadly the zebra died.
“We’re directing our sources to verify the remainder of the animals within the habitat are settled.
“These types of incidents are extraordinarily uncommon and we’ll proceed to observe the scenario over the subsequent few days.
“We’re devastated by this loss.”
One customer wrote on Fb: “So unhappy to learn this.
“We had been on the zoo immediately. Actually simply seen the rhinos and zebras chasing as we headed inside. We had been requested to make our option to the exit to clear the world, not having a clue what had occurred. The employees had been superb.”
One other mentioned: “I used to be there and witnessed it. Terrible to look at. I’m very upset.”
The enclosure, which was in-built 2001, is dwelling to giraffes, maneless zebra, white rhino, ostrich, topped crane and a higher kudu.
