A pensioner is combating for his life after being hit by a bus in Regent Road in central London.

A spokeswoman for the pressure informed Metro: ‘Police have been referred to as at 12.52pm on Monday, July 28 following a collision between a bus and a pedestrian on Regent Road.

‘The pedestrian, a person in his 80s, was handled on the scene and brought to hospital by the London Ambulance Service.

‘His situation is considered life-threatening.

‘This incident is ongoing and bus providers within the space are on diversion.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson stated: ‘We have been referred to as at 12.48pm as we speak (28 July) to reviews of a highway visitors collision on the junction of Margaret Road and Regent Road, W1W.
