
A ‘candy and humorous’ four-year-old boy has been killed in a bus crash outdoors of a hospital in Kent.
Zaahir Jan was strolling out of Queen Elizabeth, Queen Mom Hospital in Margate yesterday afternoon after visiting his grandmother when he ‘fell below’ the white single-decker car.
His mum Azaria, who was with him on the time of the accident, mentioned her son died immediately.
She mentioned: ‘My son who is barely four-years-old fell below a bus and he died instantly.
‘I’m so misplaced, he was my son, my most lovely little Jan. I don’t know what to do I can’t imagine you might be gone from me.

‘I can’t imagine they couldn’t prevent, I can’t imagine this occurred. I didn’t even get to let you know how a lot I like you.
‘Everyone seems to be devastated, however that phrase doesn’t really feel like sufficient to clarify how we’re all feeling.
‘Our candy humorous boy with a cheeky smile that might make anybody’s coronary heart full. The smile that we will’t see once more. Can’t maintain him. Can’t cuddle him. Can’t hear him. Can’t have him sleeping in my mattress tonight.

Kent Police mentioned: ‘Kent Police was referred to as to Ramsgate Street shortly after 4pm on Thursday 7 August 2025 following a report of an incident involving a bus and a pedestrian outdoors Queen Elizabeth Queen Mom Hospital.
‘The bus, a white single decker car, was travelling close to the doorway to the A&E division.
‘It’s reported that the pedestrian, a 4 12 months outdated boy, left the hospital on foot and a collision occurred.’
