Protesters have lined and broken the case containing the Crown Jewels on the Tower of London.

Footage reveals protesters from group Take Again Energy smearing crumble and custard onto the glass show case defending the enduring jewelled crown.

Employees attempt to cease the pair as they douse the glass in meals whereas vacationers watch on.

The activist group mentioned: ‘Democracy has crumbled. Billionaires purchase political affect while homeless individuals die on the streets.

‘There are homeless individuals dying on our streets, that is probably the most harmful time of the yr for them, and we have now the wealthy hoarding the wealth. That is disgusting.’

Take Again Energy describes themselves as a ‘civil disobedience group’ which was shaped not too long ago.

Two supporters of Take Back Power have smothered dessert over the crown jewels. Take Back Power is a new nonviolent civil-resistance group, demanding that the UK government establish a permanent citizens assembly- a House of the People, which has the power to tax extreme wealth and fix Britain. At around 09:50 this morning, two Take Back Power supporters covered the glass containing the crown jewels in custard and apple crumble. They then held a sign which read DEMOCRACY HAS CRUMBLED- TAX THE RICH. By around 10:30 the two action takers had been taken into custard-y by police, whilst three others had been detained.
