An artist has overwhelmed his personal world document for making a sculpture so small that it may possibly solely be in comparison with a human blood cell.

David A Lindon, from Bournemouth, Dorset, has created a tiny sculpture referred to as The Yellow Smiley Face, which sits on a first-class stamp as a single microdot on the attention of the late Queen Elizabeth II.

He now holds the brand new Guinness World File for creating the smallest handmade sculpture.

David beforehand held that title after creating his Pink Lego Brick sculpture, which measured 0.02517mm by 0.02184mm.

‘I’m thrilled at this information and grateful to Bournemouth College for measuring it,’ David stated.

‘My sculpture is so small that it’s the similar measurement as a particle of talcum powder, a human blood cell, mould spores, micro organism and even a fog droplet.’

Dr Sarah Elliott, affiliate head of college of life and environmental sciences, stated the sculpture could pique the curiosity of the college college students.

She stated: ‘Our college students might be fascinated to see the sculpture that David has created for us, and we hope that it will encourage college students to think about life in miniature in several methods.’

David has beforehand made headlines for making a menagerie of miniature creatures for his solo exhibition, the World’s Smallest Zoo, displaying totally different animals contained inside the attention of a needle.
