President Donald Trump has launched a second navy strike on a vessel believed to be carrying Venezuelan drug cartel members within the Caribbean Sea.
The US President confirmed on his Reality Social platform that three Venezuelan "narcoterrorists" had died following the strikes.
Mr Trump posted: "This morning, on my Orders, US Army Forces carried out a second Kinetic Strike towards positively recognized, terribly violent drug trafficking cartels and narcoterrorists within the SOUTHCOM space of accountability.
"The strike occurred whereas these confirmed narcoterrorists from Venezuela have been in Worldwide Waters transporting unlawful narcotics (A lethal weapon poisoning People!) headed to the US.
"These extraordinarily violent drug trafficking cartels pose a menace to to US Nationwide Safety, International Coverage, and important US pursuits.
"The strike resulted in 3 male terrorists killed in motion. No US Forces have been harmed on this strike.
"Be warned – if you’re transporting medication that may kill People, we’re searching you!
"The illicit actions by these cartels have wrought devastating penalties on American communities for many years, killing thousands and thousands of American Residents. Not."
The strike comes simply weeks after the US navy carried out related motion which killed 11 Venezuelan members of a violent cartel.
