An 84-year-old man who had been launched from jail simply weeks in the past was discovered lifeless outdoors his house after a ‘brutal and sustained assault’.
Sean Small was pronounced lifeless outdoors of his home in Newcastle in County Down, Northern Eire, on Sunday night time.
A person in his 40s has since been arrested on suspicion of homicide.
