FIREFIGHTERS are tackling an enormous blaze involving 250 tonnes of manure with locals warned to close home windows and doorways.
Emergency providers scrambled to the scene in Brigstock, Northamptonshire, to attempt to douse the flames.
It’s anticipated that the blaze will burn for a number of days, mentioned firefighters.

A spokesman for Northants Fireplace and Rescue mentioned: “We’re at present on the scene of a giant fireplace in Brigstock, involving 250 tonnes of farm manure.
“Folks dwelling within the village and surrounding areas are suggested to maintain their home windows and doorways closed.
“This hearth is predicted to proceed burn via the night time, and, over the approaching days.”
