
THE Navy’s solely hospital ship is so decrepit it has been banned from crusing amid fears it may sink.
RFA Argus — which first noticed motion through the Falklands Struggle in 1982 — underwent main repairs in April.
Navy chiefs wish to ship the ship again to Falmouth, Cornwall, for extra pressing work.
However the Maritime and Coastguard Company and Lloyds insurers dominated the crew and different vessels can be in danger if Argus left her Solent mooring close to Portsmouth.
