The federal government authorised the appointments of three deputy protection ministers to make sure "larger effectivity and agility" within the ministry's work and increase ties with international companions, Protection Minister Rustem Umerov introduced on April 29.
Serhii Boyev, beforehand a deputy minister for worldwide partnerships, was appointed first deputy protection minister. He’s changing Ivan Havryliuk, who resigned voluntarily on April 11 following a scandal over the transparency of protection procurement.
Boyev was tasked with creating a complete technique to satisfy the wants of the Ukrainian military and construct the "Protection Forces of the longer term."
"Serhii Boyev's priorities would be the growth of worldwide partnerships, securing funding and funding for Ukraine’s defense-industrial advanced, and establishing joint ventures with worldwide companions," Umerov mentioned.

Individually, the protection minister introduced the resignation of his deputy, Serhii Melnyk. Melnyk will proceed to work "in one other space," Umerov added.
